Creative Services, Inc. (CSI) announces that Kellie A. O'Shea, Esq., PHR, has rejoined the company as Associate General Counsel. Working with CSI's Director and General Counsel, Jack Nichols, O’Shea will assist with internal and external compliance and regulatory matters. O’Shea holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth where she concentrated in employment law. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

O’Shea has a longstanding history with CSI, having served as the Director of Sales and Implementation from 2003 to 2013. In this role, she worked closely with clients and partners to develop and implement background screening programs and solutions in accordance with federal, state and local laws. O’Shea was involved in legislative and legal initiatives and helped to develop strategies and communication for compliance.

In addition to her license to practice law, O’Shea is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). She holds an Advanced Certification in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and is a certified analyst in the Predictive Index® behavioral assessment suite.
As a subject matter expert, O’Shea is active in the HR community, providing educational seminars on topics including employment screening, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Massachusetts Data Privacy among others. In addition to speaking at industry and trade conferences and seminars, she has published a number of articles on HR topics including background screening and social media in hiring and firing.
