Judy Gootkind, Vice President of Creative Services, Inc., Selected as NAPBS Volunteer of the Month

Creative Services, Inc. (CSI) announces that its VP Finance and Administration, Judy Gootkind, was recognized as the October 2016 National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) Volunteer of the Month.  Gootkind is currently serving as co-chair of the Advocacy Committee, and is the immediate past chair of the BSCC, as well as a member of the Finance Committee, Governance Advisory Group, and Government Relations Committee.

Volunteers play a vital role within NAPBS, working alongside staff members and other volunteers to jointly achieve the association's goals. Through the Volunteer Recognition Program, the NAPBS highlights the contributions of its volunteer workforce.

Alan T. Sklar, President of CSI, said, “Judy’s accomplishments as an ambassador are paving the future for our industry, and most importantly, for all our clients. This is what makes CSI such a leader in the industry!”

With over 30 years of accounting experience, Gootkind is Vice President of Finance and Administration at Creative Services, Inc. (CSI).  An active member of NAPBS, Gootkind has testified in Congress on behalf of the association and, in 2013, assumed the role as Chair of the Board of Directors. She regularly presents on legislation, regulation and policy issues and represents CSI at numerous hearings including the RI Judiciary, MA Judiciary Committee, CT Department of Public Safety, NY Office of Court Administration, and the MA Attorney General’s office.
