Creative Services, Inc. (CSI), a recognized leader in the employment screening industry is pleased to announce Judith A. Gootkind, Vice President of Finance and Administration, has been named to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS®).
CSI is a founding member of NAPBS® and has sent attendees to all meetings since its inception in Clearwater, FL. CSI has participated in the Best Practices Committee since the committee’s first meeting in Scottsdale, AZ. The team at CSI was instrumental in creating the Reinvestigation Requirements of Background Screeners which is posted on the NAPBS® website. CSI joined the State Subcommittee of the Government Relations Committee and met with members of the RI Judiciary regarding redaction of information from public records, as well as appearances at the MA Judiciary Committee hearing on MA CORI reform and the CT Department of Public Safety hearing on PI licensing for Consumer Reporting Agencies. In 2008, Judy assumed a role as co-chair of the NAPBS® Government Relations Committee.
As Vice President of Finance and Administration at CSI, Judy manages the corporate and nuclear screening divisions, as well as all aspects of accounting, business management, and human resources. Since joining the company in 1992, it has been her responsibility to ensure growth and profitability, thereby allowing CSI to maintain a competitive advantage. She is also responsible for compliance and successfully monitors legislative and regulatory issues. Judy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
