Since 1985, CSI has provided screening services to the nuclear energy industry in accordance with the strict guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). In 2004, CSI opened a Nuclear Screening Operations Center in Chapin, SC to more efficiently process background investigations for this highly regulated industry. With active participation in the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), we continually educate ourselves on the changing requirements of this most sensitive industry and are fully versed in the enhancements created by the NRC Order for Compensatory Measures Related to Access Authorization. Our nuclear screening professionals are experts in investigations and interviewing and are supported by advanced information systems and resources.
 
CSI provides Unescorted Access Authorization (UAA) background investigation services for licensees seeking a primary or supplemental contractor vendor and for self-screening licensees seeking assistance in overload or outage situations.
